OutBack
Power Systems has developed a new solution for all of the DC components
of a renewable energy power conversion system. The PSDC saves
time, money and space by combining the disconnects, overcurrent
protection devices, grounding and control components into an easy
to install, single enclosure. The PSDC is easily modified
and expanded as your system grows or changes. The PSDC Line works with the Full Size PSMP Mounting Plate and up to 4 OutBack Inverters or 2 Trace SW Inverters, or other brands. The newer PS2DC line works with one or two OutBack Inverters only, and the PS2MP mounting plate.

and transformer into an easy to install, single enclosure. The PSAC
is easily modified and expanded as your system grows or changes. Like the PSDC, there is also a smaller version available for one or two OutBack Inverters, the PS2AC-50D.

PSAC Triple-bypass
Custom OutBack PSAC w/ (2) IOB-60 and 2/3 of an IOB-60D. (2) more
breakers will be added for accessory circuits. The function of the
box is to supply two 120VAC Load Centers. The interlocked breakers
allow selection of different power sources for each load center
in the event of equipment failure. Normal operation is intended
to be manual generator start with the transfer relay inside the
Trace Inverters handling the switching during generator start and
stop. We found this to be the simplest setup for this job. Simplicity
was desirable, but elusive, as you can see. Normally each inverter
supplies it's own load center with 120VAC. This system does not
provide 240VAC because that was not desired by the client, who is
helping to build a compound of 7 efficient structures. This is an
off-grid system.

Can be used to power 240 VAC loads or for converting 240 VAC generator
to 120 VAC. 4 kVA.
