A high voltage, battery-less string inverter manufacturted by SMA, the Sunny Boy SWR
1800U is slightly less expensive than the 2500, and puts out single
phase 120VAC instead of 240VAC split phase like the 2500. This allows system configurations not possible with the 2500.
