For grid-tie systems, Sunny Boy inverters have introduced
the concept of "string-tie" inverters. These do away with
much of the DC wiring necessary for conventional systems.
NO PV combiner box needed
NO additional GFP needed
NO DC load center needed
NO additional charge controller needed
Normally a 600V DC disconnect and an AC disconnect
are required. We can supply a prewired panel including these.
If backup power is desired with a Sunny Boy system,
you must add an additional charger/inverter such as a Trace or
a UPS system of some other kind.

items are new with full manufacturers warranties, unless otherwise
noted. CSE guarantees all items to be as advertised, subject to
typographic errors. Any item may be returned for a refund within
30 days. Returns require return authorization from CSE. Returns
may be subject to a 15% restocking fee. Shipping charges are not
refundable.
Any back-ordered items may be cancelled at any time before shipping
for full credit.
