Trace / Xantrex

For stand-alone and grid-tie systems, Trace is a proven choice. We recommend the Sine-Wave series, with built in AC transfer relay, Generator auto start, Aux. relays, 3-stage battery charger and metering.

SW and PS Series Are Currently Being Replaced by SW PLUS Series. Some are no longer available.

If you want to sell electricity, the GRID-TIE INTERFACE will allow net metering with your utility.

Trace PS Series

Trace Sine-Wave output if you are on a 12V system or don't need aux. relays on the SW series. Includes 3-stage battery charger and automatic AC transfer relay. This means if your batteries are low, start the generator and the changeover is automatic. Or use the grid to keep a backup battery charged and changeover will be automatic in a blackout. For an off-grid system we recommend adding the optional remote control w/ display for troubleshooting and convenience.

The SW Inverter/Charger is available in 24- and 48-volt models, it provides utility-grade output power and offers high surge capacity to run most household appliances. The SW offers many programmable features including automatic generator start and stop, and automatic load sensing. Its built-in, fully automatic, three-stage battery charger is designed to bring maximum charge to batteries, while using minimum generator run time and fuel.
